We are currently looking for an experienced Video Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building high-load video streaming systems and real-time broadcasting platforms.

 

We're seeking someone with strong expertise in C++ and Go, including the development and optimization of custom media servers and low-level network modules. Experience with cloud infrastructure for video

streaming is essential — including AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, MediaLive), OvenMediaEngine,

and OBS.

Key Competencies:

  • Design mobile and web applications, create interface prototypes, and build design systems;

  • Develop navigation flows and mobile UX structures;

  • Define user scenarios and design UX/UI solutions tailored to user needs;

  • Generate visual concepts and build detailed designs;

  • Develop design code to ensure consistency and quality across Tokens, Components, Branches;

  • Document use cases, create user journey maps, and participate in UX research when needed;

  • Analyze business goals and user needs, suggest solutions, and confidently justify your design decisions;

  • Conduct user research alongside the product team;

  • Present design solutions to project managers and team leads;

  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure precise implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software for video streaming (low-latency pipelines, transport protocol implementation, codec handling, CDN integration)

  • Support and optimize applications for real-time broadcasting and content playback across web, mobile, and Smart TV platforms

  • Design and maintain server-side media logic (media server backend, streaming, recording)

  • Implement and debug transmission protocols (WebRTC, SRT, RTMP, LL-HLS, MPEG-DASH, etc.)

  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and product teams

  • Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for media application build and release processes

  • Monitor system performance, profile streaming delays and bitrate usage, and perform optimizations

  • Develop and maintain custom solutions for scaling video streaming infrastructure (load balancing, auto-sharding, failover, geo-distribution)
