We are currently looking for an experienced Video Streaming Engineer with 3+ years of experience in developing high-load video streaming systems and real-time broadcasting solutions. 

​

We are looking for deep expertise in C++ and Go, including development and optimization of custom media servers and network-level modules, as well as hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and scaling cloud infrastructure for video streaming: AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, MediaLive), OvenMediaEngine, OBS.

  • Linux, Docker, Nginx-RTMP

 

Cloud platforms

  • AWS (CloudFront, EC2, S3, EKS)

 

Monitoring & CI/CD

  • Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab CI/CD, Loki

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for video streaming systems (low-latency video pipelines, protocol implementation, codec handling, CDN integration)

  • Support and optimize real-time streaming and playback applications across multiple platforms (web, mobile, Smart TV)

  • Develop and maintain server-side media logic (media server backend, live streaming, recording)

  • Implement, integrate, and debug streaming protocols (WebRTC, SRT, RTMP, LL-HLS, MPEG-DASH, etc.)

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Frontend, Product)

  • Analyze and resolve production incidents, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for building and releasing media applications

  • Monitor streaming system performance, profile services, and optimize latency and bitrate

  • Design and support custom scalability solutions for video streaming (load balancing, auto-sharding, failover, geo-distribution)
